Major App Update: Planker Gets a Fresh Start for the New Year

Every New Year, many of us set new goals — and just as often, struggle to keep them.

Planker was created to make that process simpler.

The first version of Planker was released over ten years ago.

It was rough and minimal, but users appreciated its simplicity.

Over time, as I continued to use it myself, its limitations became clearer.

This New Year felt like the right moment to rethink and rebuild the app.

This update is a major overhaul, with a focus on daily consistency.

Key changes include:

  • A complete design refresh The interface has been redesigned to feel cleaner, calmer, and more focused.
  • New Daily Check Mode You can now check off goals and habits each day, much like a daily attendance system. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s showing up consistently.
  • Overall UI improvements Many small usability issues have been refined based on real usage.

This update was built with a fresh mindset, and modern coding tools — including AI — helped speed up development significantly.

It feels good to ship something meaningful again.

Planker will continue to focus on being a simple, sustainable tool for daily progress.

Feedback is always welcome as the app continues to evolve.
